Luckily, you have an insect screen so it won't actually attach itself to your lips.

  • Thanks Barry. I hope your career is going swimmingly as well.
  • I saved your number- I'll give you a call soon. And so you don't get any unsolicited telemarketing calls...I also deleted your last comment.
  • Absolutely! I travel between here and Denison almost everyday. I know Buck Snort BBQ is in Van Alstyne...

    Have FUN!

  • Yes...even though I'm in TX...I wear Hawaiian Shirts everyday! First, when you're a FAT GUY that's about all you can find to wear. Second, it helps me pretend I'm on vacation everyday!

    Have FUN!

  • Hi Barry -
Sorry to hear you're getting the meteorological equivalent of 'feast or famine' in your part of the country. I have a friend in Atlanta who is about a block from a river that's at flood stage (16 ft!). It's too crazy. Here in the Northwest, it's gonna be 90 degrees again today... at the end of September! I'll be curious to see what the winter brings.

Things were a little slow the first half of the month, but they're starting to pick up. More and more though, the thought of living off the grid sounds damn appealing. :-)

    Take care,
    Linda
  • Hey Barry,
I guess the earthquake set the gig back. Good luck with it. Have you done anything else yet? I'm taking this very slow and methodical. I did get a small gig on being the voice of a mafioso type character for a computer animation engineer in New York......won't put my kids thru college, but it was fun to do as well as the experience. Give me a shout.

  • Hey man, have not heard from you for a while, are you back from Tokyo? Give me a shout and let me know how your trip was. Syen Nara (yea I know the sp. is probably wrong....Adios!)
  • Nope, no boat dock or cattle ranch for that matter. The drought there is putting unbelievable stress on man and animal. Prayin' for rain...

    Linda
  • Twice as old? Yeah, and I have a boat dock in Austin to sell you right now! :-)
Thanks for the kind wishes to a fellow summer birthday friend.

Life is both a crapshoot... and a wonderful gift. Sorry to hear about your stepdad, but so happy for you to be heading off on your Pacific Rim adventure!
    Stay in touch!
    Linda
  • Dude, I'm trying to look Japanese so I can land a sweet all expenses paid gig! Barry, good luck with Tokyo, it sounds like a once in a life-time thang. When do you leave? Got to go to work, talk to you later................
