Hi all, and thanks for joining us at the VOICE group.

For those of you who don't already know, VOICE (the VoiceOver International Creative Experience) is a conference specifically for the voiceacting community. 2014 is our fifth conference and will be held at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA August 27-30th. We're growing in numbers and we'd love to have you join us!

I will be staying in Carlsbad.

An attitude of anticipation and willingness to learn everything you can - and a decision to participate in all ways possible. Be open to the experience and you will have a ball!

It's also an excellent idea to bring business cards! They don't have to be fancy, but they are essential. You'll meet a lot of new people and you'll need a way to remember them and them to remember you.

Spent today finalizing my class schedule. Having a quick chat with the Penmeister, and confirming my hotel reservation. (found time for a beer too!).

Also found out something that made my jaw drop..... the hotel INCLUDES, wifi in your room at no additional charge. I asked them three times if that was correct. I've never heard of a hotel doing that. What a refreshing change.

I am looking forward to meeting everyone next week. @Woody, call me when you get in. @ Bob, save me a seat at the lobby bar. @ Pat, looking forward to shaking your hand. @ Penny, we're up to 600 now. You should have thought about incurring that penalty. ( insert gregarious inside joke laugh here)
