    It's true what you are saying that's similar to how i got my recent v/o http://youtu.be/3jqJDmuPlXc  He said we don't do that yet moments later he thought of a potential client then later we connected for the details and i sent my voice and produced the video. Wishing you lots of success.

    There is such a thing as POSITIVE Rejection! I'll try to be brief, (maybe I should start a blog). Found new potential client by phone marketing, said he was not really needing VO services, but the more we chatted and I explained my way of doin' bidness, he said, yeah, send me your stuff, I've got a project I'm working on. He sent script, I recorded three different takes, emailed back. Received a long, detailed email back, giving insightful direction, and intimated that, while I may not be right for this project, he'll certainly think of me for upcoming projects he has, that better fit my style. Highly complimented my voice, compared me to a known actor, and....here's the really good stuff...said his background was in audio production, appreciated my editing ability and the quality of my studio. I know, I know...some may think it's a kind kiss-off, probably is. I, however, have rarely been more pumped up about not getting a gig, because I made a new local contact, was able to demonstrate my abilities, and got some positive feedback on what I'm sending out. I post this for all of us - Make the calls, be yourself, do your thing, and relish the small victories,...for the big ones are that much closer!

    Because tomorrow will be a very busy day...I want to wish all of my beautiful Positive Thinkers a Happy Anniversary (Hau`oli la Ho'omana'o in Hawaiian) today.
