  • My first performances were music recitals with the clarinet. Later I performed as Essie the ballerina in You Can't Take it With You. This included Improv when the character I was interacting with forgot his lines. Good memories.

Andy, my first memories of performing are the puppet shows my sister and I would perform for our folks; altho' the very first thought that came to me after reading your post was the "gig" my sister & I performed at Highland Springs, a vacation getaway, in front of an entire audience staying on the grounds, big ole hall and everything! We sang "Do Re Mi" from The Sound of Music. It was pretty awesome for a then 8 year old. Wow! Haven't thought about that in years. Thanks for this morning's walk down Memory Lane! :)
