    Hey Everyone,

    This is a bit of an unusual request, but if you're in a position to help, I'd sure appreciate it.  

     

    My mother was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis (PF) over 2 years ago and she is valiantly fighting this disease that is slowly stealing her breath and life.

    PF is a progressive scaring of the lungs that in most cases has no known cause and in ALL cases has no treatment or cure except for lung transplantation.  In most cases life expectancy is less than 5 years following diagnosis.  

     

    I'm working Pro Bono with 2 organizations to make PSAs and we're trying to get word out about this disease that afflicts 200,000 Americans. 48,000 will be diagnosed this year and 40,000 will die  - that as many people as will perish from breast cancer this year.  Yet few people have ever heard of PF.
