  • Thanks, Penny!  Thanks, Chuck!
  • Congrats, Victoria! Penny, thanks for always keeping the group so lively and fun!
  • Darla, You are AWESOME! Cold calls always terrify me. I do them, but I'm always frightened a bit. And after the first one, they get easier. It's a part if our business and I'm trying to get to the point that I love them!

Chuck, You are AWESOME! You post such wonderful words of wisdom for us. This one is another goodie. I find it so easy to accept the unique traits of others but often fail to accept my own. Thanks for the reminder that "God doesn't make junk!"

    Love you!

    Penny
  • Right on! Chuck. "If it is to be, it is up to me" sums it up succinctly.Sorry I forgot who's quote that is but it has been one of my special mantras for a long time.

Thank you for this Marston quote.Very apropos.

    Great day everyone!

  • This from Great DayGreat day

    Give acceptance

Instead of constantly seeking acceptance from others, give acceptance to yourself. Accept who you are, wholly and without reservation.

Accept your own brilliant, unique value. Then add immensely to that value by graciously and gratefully accepting the special value of the other people in your life.

Each person is delightfully different, and so are you. Accept and embrace that diversity.

You are inherently worthy, whether anyone explicitly tells you that or not. Give acceptance, to yourself and others, and you will have no need to seek it.

Give acceptance, and you will have no worries about not getting it. Do what you do, not because of how it will appear, but for the real difference it will make.

Accept the goodness that you know is in your authentic nature. Accept yourself, and all that is, and be free to live the abundance without hesitation.

    — Ralph Marston

  • Love the Cherokee story, Penny! Yes, why we sometimes feed the Evil wolf is a frightening shame to face. I like choosing good, but in reflection, I cringe to see some of the WINS the Evil wolf's had over me in the past. Helpful to be cognizant of it.
  • Darla, I love hearing stories about people addressing their areas of discomfort and coming out better for the experience.

I have been one to shy away from these experiences myself--but as I get older and maybe a little bit wiser, I realize that by staying away and letting the fear win, we deprive ourselves of the opportunity to learn and grow.

I think it's AWESOME that you made that uncomfortable cold call--and you not only survived, but THRIVED! Now, how awesome is that?!!!

As Jennifer said so well, "Jolly good, Darla!"

  • You see .You are valuable! Well done - my stomach churns at the thought of cold calling- but it does work if you do it right and obviously -you did!! Jolly good Darla!
  • I'm shy about self-marketing, but I tried making a "cold call" connection today with a publisher.  Got an enthusiastic response and a request to send a sample of my narration work.  WoW!
  • I second what Jennifer said.

Chuck, it seems that some of your greatest thoughts and inspiration come when you're in the jacuzzi. There must be a lot of positive energy there!--Can you share some of it with us?!

Bob, I'm so glad you're hanging in there and progressing in your healing...

Christine, positive energy and healing thoughts continue to come your way...

Victoria, may this be the first of many of your voiceover successes! Persistence, perseverance, quick thinking, and a lot of scrambling to put all the pieces together under less than ideal circumstances, led to your success. I'm so happy for you!

To all our PTU Family, have a great weekend!
