  • Here is something to think about from Great Day

    You get to be you

Today you get to be you. Today you get to be immersed in the abundant richness that is your life.

Today you get to grow stronger by dealing with new and unique challenges. Today you have the immense good fortune of being able to create joy where none existed before.

On this day that’s one of a kind, you get to experience the wonders of the universe from your own unique perspective. Today you can envision a dream and then immediately start working to bring that dream to life.

What’s truly wonderful is that even in the midst of the most frustrating frustrations, you can make a difference. In your world, in your life and in the lives of others, you can make a positive difference.

Today, in a new and fulfilling way, you get to be you. And even the setbacks, shortcomings and obstacles make your life richer and more meaningful.

So here it is, and here you are. Stand up, step forward and live the grand adventure that now stretches out in front of you.

It's been a "Great Day" goodnight my friends.

This is the moment you have, this is the moment you are living. To find the very best in it give your very best to it, with love leading the way.
  • Finally got the pictures of the studio remodel on Facebook. Have a look.

  • Great!  It's been my experience that most people don't care about their health.  When things go wrong, they like to blame it on age, yet age has nothing to do with it.  It's funny to compare these people to older people who are extremely healthy.  To each his own, I guess.
  • Vicki,  My Dr. told me to get Dr. Bernstein's book, which I did as soon as I could get to my computer and order it from Amazon.  My wife and have decided to go the naturpathic route. Dr. Ellen Heinitz is amazing and very thorough.

The thing is I am not afraid, I am relieved and grateful to know what it is and that there is a solution.  I am so willing to do what ever it takes without question without hesitation.

  • Dan, thank you for sharing.....and thank you for the reminder. Without ones health we have nothing....and I thank you for the nudge....life changes are afoot. (Which given the size of me feet, are pretty big)....
  • Daniel, my mom has diabetes type 1, and she strongly recommends Dr. Richard Bernstein's book "Diabetes Solution".  Personally, I think I have diabetes type 2, but I refuse to get tested for it, since it will just make my insurance go up, and I'm not doing the doctor thing anyway.  The more I learn about how unhealthy the foods I grew up eating are, the more picky I get about diet.  Lately I have trouble finding anything I'm willing to eat at restaurants (due to carbs, MSG, GMO, hydrogenated oils, pasteurized dairy, and meat that's been injected with antibiotics and fed wrong).  I even went to a "healthy" restaurant one day, only to discover that healthy to them meant no meat and a lot of carbs in every dish.  As more people go healthy, eventually the restaurants and laws on food (like raw milk being illegal) will have to change.  I do recommend Stevia as a sweetener that's actually good for you and has 0 carbs.  Also consider liquid meals (like soaked and blended nuts and seeds combined with other things) in order to avoid bread.  Good luck!  In the end you'll be healthier than most people.
  • Mike,

Thanks for replaying "The Audition".  It is a very good reminder and very uplifting.

  • I just back from the Dr. today.  A consultation of the labs I had done.  What was discovered is that I am Hyper-glycemic.  I have been trying to find out why I've been experiencing Low energy, depression as well as many other symptoms, all of which is related to high blood sugar.

I am so grateful to know what has been going on and that there is a non medical solution through diet and exercise.  If though I come back to the Dr. in 2 months,  and my  blood sugar is still high I will be considered a diabetic.

All of your positive thoughts will be appreciated.

  • Oh, and turn up your speakers or mount your headphones!
  • Hello my PT friends.  Things have been going well with me and I would like everyone to know how much I appreciate all your Positive comments and help you give to those that come here to drink from the Fountain of Goodness.

I would also like to share a video that I directed and narrated in hopes it will, at the very least, stir your patriotic spirit.
