I just wanted to let you know....I GOT PUBLISHED!!!!! I looked on audible.com today as I was working on some marketing, and there I was. It was WAY cool!

Here's another way to think about your online audition memberships. What do you generally pay for a 2 or 3 day workshop? Let's says the average is around $450. Your membership costs around $300. So, start thinking of your membership as what as about what a workshop would be. You will, in fact, learn A LOT by being a member. You will gain experience in auditioning a wide variety of scripts and editing them. You will begin to recognize your unique style and which auditions you will pass on. And, if you take full advantage of your membership, you will listen to the podcasts and other educational opportunities the service offers.
When you start to think of your membership as part of your continuing education, the price (or even the time you put into the auditioning process) seems a small price to pay.
It's just another way to think about it.
