    I am working on a 3rd audio book, in negotiations for a 4th and talking to an author about a 5th.  Now, if I could just see some $$$ as a result, I'd be happier.

    The good news is we love your work.  The bad news is it won't go on sale until the end of August and we pay you two weeks after that. (it is now APRIL)

    Hey Penny, well the weekend was rough for me. I felt like I was in an earthquake at a 4.0 richter scale continuesly LOL! I don't know why but I won't let it stop me:)
    BTW I am still offering free milk shakes the only thing is you have to do come. to my house and give me your glass in my right hand and within seconds(thanks to my tremors) voila instant milkshake!!

    Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Don't forget those milk shakes...LOL!!!

    Unless you are represented by an LA Agent, the chances of getting booked with Disney are nearly impossible. Now, I know that doesn't sound very positive of me, but I know enough people in LA (agents included) that I know this to be a fact. I'm afraid that your demo would go unheard at this point in time. Especially if you have no idea even where to send it.

     

    Just sounding like the Disney guy isn't enough.

     

    The other thing to consider is this: Are you willing to move to LA? Because, if not, working for Disney (or any other animation studio) simply won't happen - especially for someone new to the business. They want you THERE.

     

    Please know that I don't tell you these things to discourage you, but rather to give you the facts - however unfair they may seem. Keep hanging in there, because nothing is truly impossible (even though it might be right now).
