Dearest Positive Thinkers,
Thank you all for the wonderful well-wishes following my surgery. I don't have to explain to you how I could actually feel your loving, positive thoughts as I was being wheeled into the operating room. I had such a feeling of peace and I have you to thank for that. You are amazing people and I love you all.
As Christmas approaches this year, I have had more time than other years to contemplate its true meaning. Whether or not you are a Christian, most people agree this is a special time of year. A time when we are a little kinder, a little more patient, a little more thankful for the things we have.
You've all been reading about the severe rain storms we have been having here in California - it has been quite a ride! As I recuperate here in my warm, safe home, I am so grateful for these four walls and the warmth within.
I am also so SO grateful for the disappearance of the constant pain I have experienced for the last 3+ years. I feel like my life is renewed!
All that being said, I know I am rambling (pain meds do that to me) I wanted to let you all know how much I appreciate your positive thoughts and energy. My successful surgery was due (in no small part) to all of you!
Big Hugs & Merry Christmas!
May your recovery from surgery be swift and easy--and may you find joy and comfort knowing that there are SO many people who care about you...Scottsdale AZ is probably glowing with all the positive energy heading your way! Great news indeed. I'm sure the road to a quick recovery could be the the best Christmas wish. God bless.
My dear Penny, I am so happy to hear the great news from Les!
I am keeping you in my prayers for a complete and speedy recovery!
May the Lord watch over you and keep you close to His heart (as Janet and I do) especially during this most blessed Christmas Season.
Wishing you, Les and your family a most healthy and Happy Christmas !!!
Lots and lots of love coming out your way from Connecticut.
Choose to be great. And you are. And the living proof of positive thinking more than ever, no doubt.
