  • Hi PTU Family! It's been a few days since I've been on so I wanted to share that my positive frame of mind is paying off. I am in the middle of my marketing campaign and although "cold calls" get a bad rap, I found some success today. Within one hour, I called about 40 advertising agencies, resulting in 4 asking me to submit by e-mail, 1 telling me when to call and to whom I should ask for when I call back, and 1 actually taking down my info. Talk about flipping the script! LOL. Yesterday, I mailed out 16 packets to agents, but I am not finished yet. Marketing has become my middle name!
  • Thank you for sharing that Andy....I needed it today....
    And a huge Hug to Jennifer.....just because......thanks.

  • This is a great video shared earlier today by Liz de Nesnera (Kevin Spacey on being successful) on Facebook... hopefully this link will take you there:
  • Penny, I'll get the ball rolling for you. For those that don't know, I was a professional DJ for years, weddings, night clubs, you name it, I did it. When I first got in though, I was moonlighting at a skating rink as a floor guard. The DJ didn't show up and the manager needed someone to fill in. I said, yeah, I'm a DJ, but I need you to show me the equipment quickly because each system is different. While it's true, it is, it was my first run behind the stuff. I never looked back. It opened a lot of doors and shortly afterwards I opened for aother DJ who had won numerous awards. He glared at me for hours then finally threw me out of the booth. When I asked why, he said because your selection is great, if you knew how to mix, you'd be dangerous. He took me under his wing, taught me more than I can think about for mixing music.
  • thanks for the smiles, Penny. I find it most amazing and amusing that the two "dancers" could keep such straight faces.
