  Thanks everyone. I appreciate the Kudos from my extended family here. What an adorable little girl. Kind of reminds me about the time, almost 20 years ago now, when my ship was in port in Thailand and I ended up jumping up on stage and .... Hmmm, on second thought maybe I won’t go there; some poor sailors still have to go to therapy over that episode... :)

  Penny, I just watched the video......but I have a question.
  
  How come no one thinks it's cute when *I* get up on the counter and sing? That has always puzzled me.

  Penny, that little girl is priceless! We can all take a page from her book. On that note I am taking the plunge and preparing for a character demo to be produced in July. Of course anyone who met me at VOICE would say(duh, you are a character)
  
  This is a huge leap of faith and I feel excited and scared simultaneously. Thanks for everyone who has encouraged me toward my goals.

  Barry I am glad you are feeling you feeling better, I will definitely use that remedy next time for my husband( he will have no idea what hit him..tee hee)

  I am playing Emcee at a big Bluegrass Fest tomorrow. Man, I just love this job. Plus, got some great 4th of July gigs this week. Any suggestions on a good site to get some free patriotic music?

  Thanks for sharing that, Debbie. Isn't life rewarding (not to mention so much more simple) when we let go of the control we think we have and just go with the flow of gratitude for all we have? Amazing how that works! Congrats to you!!

  Another lesson in why it's so cool to be in a "feel good" positive vibe and stay in the moment... had a fantastic day yesterday, scouted out a location for the wedding that I will DJ tomorrow, checked on my dad, got one of my favorite things to eat in the world, a meatball grinder (kind of like a meatball sub) at Mario's and ate it on the Country Club Plaza here in Kansas City, sitting on park bench next to the JC Nichols fountain (local landmark). I was so content and happy just sitting there eating and listening to the water splashing the in fountain and the sounds of the city. Driving home, the radio DJ asked for the 9th caller for tickets to a concert for an artist that I've really been wanting to see for some time, Michael Franti & Spearhead, so what the heck... I called in and won! My friends are amazed at the way I've been winning stuff lately.. just in the past year I appeared on Who Wants to be a Millionaire and won a big screen TV... and it occurred to me that each time I won something, I was having a fantastic, feel-good day... staying in the present moment and enjoying life... and not concerned about the outcome, just approaching it playfully. Anyway, long post just to say that I love being a positive thinker!!
