  • Happy New Year everyone! I'm extremely happy and proud to be a part of this group and to be associated with such wonderful people. I'm looking forward to 2010 and am sure it will be my best voice over year yet! I'm kicking off a new marketing campaign and can't wait to see the results!

May it be the best one yet - with many more to come!

    Happy Hugs,

  • Merry Christmas and Happy New year to all.
Santa was good this year bringing new home recording studio. Just started to use it this morning and the sound is great.
  • Adorable Andy.
Your son and you both should get the job!!
    Hope your holiday was Merry.
    Happy New Year too!
  • It's "words from William" day today!

My son, William, and I had great fun playing with the recent unnoficial ABC News faux-dition (http://tinyurl.com/ybpx4ej)... you can read about it here, thanks to Penny for this: http://voiceacting.com/blog/?p=1026

Learning is fun... we both had a lot of the latter, and I did quite a bit of the former.
  • Congratulations Barb!!!

And Penny...if William's words are true I am a SuperHuman Commoner about 197 years old!
  • All went well at Christmas in Seattle. My mother (who has refused to talk to me for a month - it's a long story) embraced me in a warm and loving hug. My father (85 yrs old) still has a death wish as long as he is living with my mother. A 60 year disfunctional relationship at its peak and Dad is devoted to a fault. But for my visit with them over Christmas all went well and peacefull. Thank you all for your prayers. Penny, I did not give the volume 1 or 2 of Food For Thought to my mother. But now I think that it will be safe to do so.
On a Happy New Year note...I got my first VO gig for a 90 second spot on a web site intro for a local company. I will be recording for it come the first week in January. I still don't know how they heard about me.
    Stay tuned.
  • Hi all,

Lee Plaud has posted another "goodie" on Facebook.

"To make mistakes is human; to stumble is commonplace; to be able to laugh at yourself is maturity." -- William Arthur Ward

    Thanks, Lee!
