I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you yet, so hello! Funks are normal, especially when it coincides with grief. I'm sorry to hear about your mom, but we are all glad to hear that your funk hasn't turned into a lifestyle!
Welcome back and keep putting one foot in front of the other! Oh, and make sure your laces are tied :)

I have been in a funk for the last four months. My mom passed away in November and my attitude has taken a vacation and my desire to do much of anything has vanished. I haven’t even turned on my equipment since December. I’m not asking for condolences or any of that. Mom and I were not particularly closed but this is the deepest funk I have ever been in and it is time to take my own advice.
I just picked out Robert Schuller’s book, “If it’s going to be, it’s up to me”. Time to crack it and hit my reset button.
For you that know me, you know that I’m a go-getter with an attitude that lights up a room. I’m also very humble. I know where I came from and where I have gone. I don’t know where I’m going yet but as long as I’m falling on my face, I’m headed in the right direction.
Watch out world, I’m back!
It keeps me challenging myself all the time! Hope everyone's having a great weekend! And, right on Bill! We all need to get off our butts, and use our guts! :)
I heard Ethyl Merman sing that in 1960. My very first Broadway Play to see. I have never forgotten that line.

Today is the Day!
and the child heart in me puts both feet on the floor and says, "I can *too* enjoy the moments of this day."
It is such a pleasure to read this wall. Thank you all for being here and I join in the group hug.
As always Penny, thanks for the inspiration!
