  • Welcome Ivy,
As a "newbie" you have found a very good home :-) There is a wealth of information here and a lot of great folks willing to help where and when they can.
  • Welcome IVY, I know the feeling
  • Hi! I am a newbie. :) I have never been so excited in my life. VU is great!
  • There's a lot of Buzzz about September being National Voice Over Month which can be a great marketing opportunity with our clients and prospects for all of us. I just posted a video asking people to share how they're going to celebrate National Voice Over Month.

I'll put all the different ideas together from everyone and post it on my blog. It should generate a lot of great ideas and we can all use it as a resource to market our businesses!

    Here' s the link!

  • Hi John

I much appreciate your input. It help me resolve my problem.
    Thanks again,

  • Hi Tom,

Your recording software should be able to do that for you. You probably have an option when you save the file to save a copy of the file as something, typically it's "Save As" and then you have the option of selecting what type of file you wan to save it as. - .wav or a .mp3. Select MP3 and click save. That should do it. Good luck!
  • Can someone please advise how to convert a wav file to mp3?
    Thanks,
  • As a newbie I'm requesting a review of my demo at http://www.anthonystewart.net/voice

I greatly appreciate any advice you give.

    Thank you.

  • That's good Tom, then I would suggest just concentrate on marketing yourself (whther it be on a P2P site, your own site, direct mail, etc.) and learn as much as you can and practice as much as you can. Don't be afraid of the audition process. Doing auditions (even for small paying jobs) will help you get better.
