  • Judy, I use Quickbooks. Its easy to customize your invoices both for using your branding and for listing the various items for a job. Example: "Tags" or "Commercial Body"
  • Howdy All! My name is Ezekiel Robison and I'm a newbie too! I'm from the crazy state of Idaho and I just wanted to say Hey!
  • From my experience, best is to focus on relation marketing, network marketing, optimize customer benefit, run the VO bizniz just like any other small business, regardless of the product. Think of yourself not primarily as a voice actor, but a subcontractor in an industry. Get your own website ( I recommend HTML based) and make sure that the key searchwords are in the meta tags, and make it clean and professional Most people who hunt for talent on the Internet have very little time for fancy flash intros, and too much info clutter is confusing and time-consuming.
  • Hello, my name is Brenda and I'm a Newbie! Just joined, so what 's new guys?
Is anyone in this group from Chicago or the Chicagoland area?
  • Hey everyone!

Its nice to be able to come to a site like this and read and learn so much from all of you. With that being said, if anyone gets a chance, could you please listen to my Production Sample on my page and give me some feedback. Good or Bad, is fine either way.

    Thanks for taking the time!

  • What's the difference between ISDN and Phone Patch?
  • I would say, get a coach and work with them and make sure it;s someone in the business. then when you are sure you have a good demo ask someone. they should help. It is a stark reality that us new people are not going to sound as polished as experienced people. We need practice. I haven't heard your stuff and I am in no way a qualified person to critique.
  • wow Michael thanks, hope all is well everyone,im still learning all i can, will share soon
