  • you have to be a hustler in this business. Don't wait for the clients call. Make your own clients that you know will call you for that certain specilaty you have and that's you voice. If everyone could do what you do then there would be no need for you. Above all Sell Sell Sell..............Your Self!
  • Well, there are zillions more experience than I am, but my two cents: call directly on the client/owner of the business, and offer to record his or her spots/training/Web site and other announcements. Build your client base that way. Don't wait to win auditions. That road is too crowded. The road less traveled is best. Sure, it's frightening to imagine doing it that way, but it'll be far more productive for you. :)
