Are you looking for a way of connecting a non-USB mic to the pc - or some way to add USB ports to system that's run out of ports?

Thanks,

The shotguns sound really nice through it...I've used large diaphragm condensers as well.
Although, if I'm on the road, I'm probably not working in the most sonically forgiving environments ( hotel bed comforters make great voiceover booths! )...so, I almost always just travel with my shotgun mic.
Recently, I've switched from the 416 to the NTG-3 from RODE. It's a GREAT mic. If you want to have your 416 at home, but don't want to shell out the bucks for a second one for the road...get yourself an NTG-3.
They're virtually indistinguishable from one another in a side-by-side taste test.
These days...I actually prefer the NTG-3 to the 416.
Take care!

Thanks,

I've got the P-Solo for just that very purpose. It's great. I'm a big fan of the box. I bought it first, started using it on the road...and turned around and picked up the P-2 Analog for my home studio.
I really can't speak highly enough about it.
Clean...quiet...light-weight...cool looking too!
It beats the pants off just plugging your mic straight into an MBox or whatever your porta-recorder of choice is.
Hope this helps!
