    The Word of the Week

Rise above the problems of life and seek My face to re- establish eternal and spiritual perspective. As long as you keep your difficult circumstances constantly before your face, My face will be obscured. Choose to trust Me and to know that My grace is sufficient for every situation. I will bring you through every trial in victory, and I tell you absolutely that this too shall pass, says the Lord.

Psalms 118:24 This is the day the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

    Here's to you Don.

P.S. Put in a good word for me with THE Man wouldya? Love you, chief. Rest in Heavenly peace.
  • Hi everyone, what a great site and really a joy to read your comments. Attended a Harvest celebration last evening with Greg Lorie and the men's group "Mercy Me." Greg lost his son in a auto accident recently and shared how his faith in a loving savior gives him the assurance that his son Scott was not really lost because Greg knows exactly where he is.
  • What joy in that we have direct access (24/7) to the Throne of Grace through to ultimate sacrifice of Jesus! 24/7! Let's continue to lift up Don, his family and each other! May God bring you great joy!
  • Just joined the site today! I too hope and pray for a speedy recovery for the man Don Lafontaine! God bless!
  • Best birthday wishes and health blessings to "The Don". Our prayers are with you.
  • Here's to Don LaFontaine! A collective prayer for him and his family, and to anyone coping with illness, whether serious or mild.
    Almighty and Eternal God,
You are the everlasting health of those who believe in You.
Hear us for Your sick servant (N...)
for whom we implore the aid of Your tender mercy,
that being restored to bodily health,
he (she) may give thanks to You in Your Church.
    Through Christ our Lord
  • ~Word of the week, y'all...

My people, understand what I am bringing to you, for it is a message of concern. Have I not spoken to you that this is a season of blessing? Yet there are those who will curse their blessings because of doubt and unbelief. Steady yourselves, and lift up the hands that hang down in weakness. Reassure yourselves in My Word; it is true, and the truth shall set you free. The truth will open the door for that which has been promised to you. I have designed this season that you may endure a little while before you receive that which is promised. For, endurance produces patience and causes you to depend upon Me and reckon with your own beliefs and misunderstandings of the function of My kingdom. Arise and bless yourselves in My provision as you believe.

If you will take the time to ask Me when you have questions and to seek Me when you have needs, I will take you through the school of My Spirit and show you step by step how to walk in the Spirit and live by the Spirit. Consider Me first in every situation and dilemma. Trust Me to give wisdom, direction, and provision, for I am your God, and I will never forsake you, says the Lord.

    Peace, Love and Blessings, family
  • I can't begin to tell you how very blessed I am with the way this group has grown and the like-mindedness of everyone to glorify Jesus! Truly sweet!

Ted... Great idea! I'm not sure about a prayer conference call each week...what with everyone's schedules and all. But I DO hope that friendships can and will be made within this group that will result in people feeling comfortable sharing their needs with each other.

I've also started a discussion called "The Prayer Closet" which is simply a place for folks to post any prayer requests they may have.

    God bless!
