    I met Joe back in the mid-70's. He was on vacation, and stopped in to visit a co-worker of mine....a d.j. he'd worked with back home in Connecticut. He was a young, enthusiastic radio guy...and a really good guy. Just a few years later, Joe's career exploded, and he's become one of the best-ever, most-successful and skilled VO actors ever. Yet, he remains the same enthusiastic, good person I met back in Tampa decades ago. Kind, offering advice, helping others, giving back. Congratulations Joe! Well deserved.

    Truly a highlight of That's Voiceover! was having the opportunity to thank you in person for your candid and informative videos on VU and being an inspiration to me. Please keep the videos coming and as you mentioned last night, voice training's like learning Golf..once you have the technique down it's time to just start swinging".     Congratulations from one Joe to another!
    I want to chime in with my fellow VO's and congratulate on a well deserved award. You truly deserve it not just because of the fantastic work you do, but also because you are always there to answer questions and lend your expertise to either the most experienced pros, or the guy/gal that is just starting out. Thanks for your insights and generosity, it is greatly appreciated.

    Congrats Joe. As a great talent you are so deserving. But it's all your versions of "ride a-longs" you do to help VO people that I think honors Don the most.
