HA! That was awesome, Joe. I just watched it at our radio station in Brewer, Maine...I ran the audio from your video through the on-air board...two or three words may have accidentally went out over the air...oops! I gotta lay off the ALKALOL.

Thanks Nelson...if some of it went out over the air, that would be the first SIMULCAST of ASK JOE. Congratulations. :-)

    Joe
  • So much fun, Joe! You and Randy work beautifully together. How do you come up with this stuff? What ever you do, don't stop!
  • LOLOLOL!! You that was INCREDIBLY Hilarious! Thank you for the smiles & Wisdom;D
  • HA! That was awesome, Joe. I just watched it at our radio station in Brewer, Maine at 5:00am. Yep, they got me workin' on the 4th. They've even got me walkin' in the parade later this morning. C'mon now, it's a chance to hurl candy at unsuspecting bystanders. I ran the audio from your video through the on-air board...two or three words may have accidentally went out over the air...oops! I gotta lay off the ALKALOL.
Thanks for the great tips, Joe. Enjoy the holiday weekend.

  • Joe,

This was great fun. Thank you. I appreciate the info about Alkalol, too.

    Be well,
    Bob
  • OH Joe...

    Cheerio mate,

  • Hey Joe
I notices your set up in the background. Did you build that yourself or did you have an engineer come in? Also could you let me know, should I invest in a isdn line, audio tx, source connect or skype?

umm I loved you vid....This may be off topic but the actor in the B&W movie.....wasn't he also in The Red Shoes.

Gosh, that's a good question. I don't know who the actor is, nor do I know the movie this scene came from. I just thought he was PERFECT with his swagger...and top hat and tails. Y'know, exactly how we all dress for voice over sessions :-)

  • Thanks Joe, for the great video, and answering my question! I appreciate the info.

My guess is my voice is bright enough, so having my windscreen on the mic doesn't affect it. I neglected to mention, I also use a pop filter. I suppose it's ok. Crazy as it sounds, I really keep the windscreen on mainly b/c I'm afraid of dust getting into the mic.

I'll do some experiments with and without the windscreen and see!

    Thanks!! Caryn

PS: I read your remark about your cameraman and I'm still giggling. :)
