HA! That was awesome, Joe. I just watched it at our radio station in Brewer, Maine...I ran the audio from your video through the on-air board...two or three words may have accidentally went out over the air...oops! I gotta lay off the ALKALOL.
Thanks Nelson...if some of it went out over the air, that would be the first SIMULCAST of ASK JOE. Congratulations. :-)
Joe
Thanks for the great tips, Joe. Enjoy the holiday weekend.
Nelson
This was great fun. Thank you. I appreciate the info about Alkalol, too.
Be well,
Bob
Toooo Funny! What a great way to wrap the holiday week :) THANKS!
Also, thank you for the vocal remedy...
Enjoy the weekend and I'll talk with you soon.
Cheerio mate,
DAVO
I notices your set up in the background. Did you build that yourself or did you have an engineer come in? Also could you let me know, should I invest in a isdn line, audio tx, source connect or skype?
umm I loved you vid....This may be off topic but the actor in the B&W movie.....wasn't he also in The Red Shoes.
Gosh, that's a good question. I don't know who the actor is, nor do I know the movie this scene came from. I just thought he was PERFECT with his swagger...and top hat and tails. Y'know, exactly how we all dress for voice over sessions :-)
My guess is my voice is bright enough, so having my windscreen on the mic doesn't affect it. I neglected to mention, I also use a pop filter. I suppose it's ok. Crazy as it sounds, I really keep the windscreen on mainly b/c I'm afraid of dust getting into the mic.
I'll do some experiments with and without the windscreen and see!
Thanks!! Caryn
PS: I read your remark about your cameraman and I'm still giggling. :)
