  • Hey Bob, may not remember me but I met you at your Portland Workshop last year. I was auditing the course and had the time of my life.

I have my basic studio set up and still have the sample page and will send you an mp3 soon. I look forward to following this group. Blessings:)

  • Fantastic group Bob
  • Deb rocks!!!!! Not just as a teacher and talent, but also as a person. Next time you see her give her a big ol sloppy hug from me!

  • Debbie Munro produced my demo. I have been studying under her for awhile now. She has worked wonders with me. When she first started working with me I was carrying all my old broadcasting habits with me.
She says she likes my quirkiness (I just have to take her work for it that - that is a good thing). :)
So far I've not booked any jobs (outside of my military training video gigs) but I still feel quite blessed since starting my training. Everyone I've met, either live in person or virtually over the Internet has been just terrific people without exception. I'm sure there must be some real jerks out there -- I've just not met them yet I guess.
  • Glad that helped.

    Where/who produced your demo??

  • Thanks for the great input Bob.

I personally like my demo but there has been something about it that I just couldn’t see, like a movement you notice with your peripheral vision but when you look directly at it you can’t see anything even though you know something is there.

You’ve put your finger on just the thing that has been nagging me and had me seek out your advice in the first place. I think I was just too close to be able to see the pacing problem and not experienced enough to understand the importance of voice to voice transition.

Well.. I’m off to do a little tweeking (which will probably be a great learning experience in itself).

Thanks again, and YES it did help….considerably.

    Kerry
